During the covid-19 pandemic we've been bombarded with stats – making it more crucial than ever to apprehend what the numbers can and cannot tell us

THERE IS a quote from Nate Silver about information which I think could be very pleasant: “The numbers have no way of talking for themselves. We talk for them, we imbue them with which means.” You can’t simply acquire a few facts and it’ll tell you the solution.
